I’ve actually had my baby hammock for the longest time-  it’s one of the first props that I bought when I was starting out nearly twenty years ago.  Props were pretty unusual in photography then too so I’m kind of glad that it has stood the test of time (certainly not all the stuff I bought then is still about!).

Anyway, I digress.  It’s brilliant for newborns and also for the first baby photography club photo shoot as this little chap proves. Something a bit different and babies seem to love hanging out in this relaxing little number!  You do need two adults to make the shot work of course, so you’ll need to make sure you have that if you want to use it at your Joey Club shoot.  The shot is a bit of a cheat, we certainly don’t lift the baby up as high as it looks, we just lift them off my giant beanbag enough to get their weight into the hammock and the rest is just a bit of Photoshop smoke and mirrors.
