Dogs at maternity sessions have become one of my favourite things, and requests for them have gone up a lot in recent years. In a lot of cases, the dog genuinely is the first baby, and this springer in a bow tie is a very good example of that.

He was also an extremely good sport about the whole thing, which isn’t always guaranteed. Adding a four-legged family member to a session does introduce a certain amount of unpredictability, and I’d always recommend bringing a pocket full of their favourite treats to help with cooperation. It can make things a bit more complicated, but I’ve never minded the extra work. I’d pretty much do anything for a dog.

If you’d like to include yours, just mention it when you book and we can make sure the session is set up for it.

Maternity Photography in East Grinstead

My maternity sessions are very flexible affairs with my studio booked for an hour so we have plenty of time to create a really varied image gallery. You’re invited to select up to three backdrops and include up to three outfit changes so you can mix and match styles to create the perfect set of pregnancy memories.

I recommend booking your session between 28-36 weeks so you’re still comfortable and you’re also welcome to borrow any of my gorgeous maternity photo shoot dresses while you’re in the studio.  You select your pictures and order any more that you would like directly from your online gallery, there’s no sales or viewing session to attend.
