It’s been a few years since I saw this lovely family in the studio – in fact, the kids were small enough to sit on their parent’s laps when they last visited!
That obviously wasn’t an option any more but it was lovely to catch up. I count myself very lucky to have a lot of clients that have been visiting me on and off for lots of years and it’s always a pleasure to see how their families have changed and grown over that time. Anyway, they decided it was time to update some of their portrait photos before the kids fly the nest and it gets harder to have everyone together and so we had a great time creating some new images for their walls. Well, I say we had a great time – teenagers aren’t always the biggest fan of getting involved in portrait photos but a little gentle persuasion and quite a lot of teasing by his family got the eldest boy willing at least to play along! I’ve spent a lot of studio hours trying to persuade lively toddlers to get into photos so a teenager can’t hold a candle to that level of resistance energy.
Seriously, it can be daunting for anyone to be coming into the studio for photos
