This tiny sleeping lady came to visit for her newborn photoshoot at my studio in Crawley Down, near East Grinstead recently.
In all truth, she didn’t give me very long to work as she was a hungry little bunny and preferred to spend her time feeding rather than posing for photos. Still, the good thing is, it actually doesn’t take very long at all to get a great set of images that really capture the beauty of those first few days. Each session still is scheduled for two hours to give us plenty of time to work for the boss in the room – I’ll give you a hint, it’s definitely not any of the grown ups! Lots of time for feeding, settling and generally getting your newborn baby as comfy as possible in order that we can get photos of them at their absolute natural best.
A newborn photo shoot costs £95 and includes five digital images at print quality. You’re welcome to order more images from your online gallery but there’s no sales meeting to attend – I wouldn’t enjoy it if it was done to me, plus you have a million important things to do with your new baby and sitting being sold to isn’t one of them! Newborn photos are best taken when your baby is between five and ten days old as this is when your little one is the sleepiest and most poseable. It’s best to book your session when you’re still pregnant – we just book for your due date plus seven days and adjust it as we need to when they make their arrival into the world. Still, I’ll always try to accommodate you if I can so just get in touch if you already have your baby and would like to book a session.
