This proud little lady came in for her portrait and, while I don’t tend to use a lot of props for dog sessions, she was exactly the right size for this little grey chair.
It’s actually designed as a dog bed, but it works brilliantly as a prop for smaller dogs and older dogs especially. It’s low to the ground, easy to get on and off, and gives them a defined spot to settle into. That last part matters more than you might think. When a dog arrives somewhere new, the temptation to sniff every corner is strong. Giving them a specific place to focus on can make a real difference.
I have a collection of chairs, boxes, bowls and crates we can use during sessions, all there to help your dog feel settled and look their best.
