Sometimes simple is exactly right. This session was all about keeping things clean and letting the dog do the work, and this one was very much up to the task.
The fine art canvas backdrop is one of my favourites for this kind of portrait. It’s warm enough to complement most coat colours without competing with them, and it gives the images a classic, timeless feel that works really well on a wall at home.
Every dog is different and sessions adapt to suit them. Some arrive ready to go, others need a bit of time and a biscuit or two before they settle. Either way, the goal is always the same: to get images that actually look like your dog, at their best and most themselves.
