Jensen has been to visit the studio four times in his first year, this last one being for his cake smashing session!

He’s been on marvellous form for all them, but he wasn’t quite sure about the cake when it was placed in front of him.  Babies are quite often a little bit more confident when they’re showing off their new skills and so we started his session with him standing up before trying to interest him in the cake. Naturally his curiosity got the better of him and he was soon digging in at which point we sat him down so he could investigate properly.

So many babies are shy of new experiences, especially those who’ve grown up over lockdown and so we always let them take the session at their own pace…
