This little bathing beauty is Clara and she is looking very happy as well she might – turning one, just eaten a load of cake with delicious blueberry and cream icing and now relaxing in a tub. What’s not to love?
Actually her mum had been very clever and in fact generated the best cake smash photo shoot hack I’ve heard in a long time. She had tried Clara with a practice cupcake at home but she wasn’t keen on the butter icing – not surprising, given how little sugar she’d actually experienced. So, knowing that this wasn’t going to work, she looked at some alternatives and settled on mixing blueberries and fresh cream to ice the cake with. The result was a gorgeous lilac coloured ‘icing’ and Clara just loved it! A great idea I thought!
To keep with the purple theme, her mum also selected my vintage lavender accessory set and rustic tin tub to complete the perfect look. Clara approved!
Cake Smash & Tub Splash Photo Shoots
A cake smash and tub splash photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate that extra special first birthday. We start with a clean shoot and mum, dad and siblings are welcome to get involved here as well for family pictures if you’d like to. Then it’s time to get out the cake for some smashing fun! After that, it’s time to fill your choice of tub with warm and bubbly water for more great pictures and a good old icing removal clean up. Each session includes your three favourite digital images (chosen from your online gallery, there’s no sales session) and costs £95.
