Just love this little guy in his green and gold outfit all ready to get stuck into his first birthday cake smash.

As cake smashes as so much more of a first birthday celebration tradition these days, there are a ton of gorgeous little outfits on the market that you can buy specially to mark the occasion.  Apparently, there are also Facebook groups where people sell theirs own after their own smash so you can benefit from a cheaper price for something that’s probably only going to be worn the once.  As a general rule, babies don’t tend to get that messy at a cake smash (there are exceptions) so most outfits can be rescued and passed on in some form.
