My clients are always coming up with clever hacks to maximise their sessions and I thought that this was a particularly good one so I decided to share it with all of you!
My client had a pretty great cake already but they wanted to add a little more flair to it – however, they weren’t super confident with icing it themselves so they brought a pack of mini swirl meringues to add on the top. They look like icing peaks, they’re all perfect regular and can be assembled in seconds and they’re the perfect size for little hands to grab at!

When it comes to capturing the memories of that first birthday milestone, then there are two options that you can choose from. You can opt for the Mini First Birthday Shoot which is a short and sweet session with your baby in one outfit, against one backdrop and includes one image for £45. If you’d like to add in a cake smash, tub splash and family or sibling photos, then you can book a Full First Birthday Shoot which includes three digital images and costs £95.
