Ralph came to visit for a bit of first birthday fun with a cake smash recently. There was cake, there was smiling, there were bubbles and a tub – sounds like my kind of a party.
Despite the fact that this looks like this is a naked cake smash, I’d like to reassure you that this is a bit of a Calendar Girls style illusion and he does have a nappy on. I saw a photographer attempt a naked cake smash once and it ended with a cake that got a very good watering – I can’t imagine what they were thinking but if there was any doubt at all that it was a bad idea, then they proved it for all of us. Actually we started off cake smashing in a super cute little outfit but stripped down half way through so there’d be some extra variety in the finished image gallery. He was more than happy in both scenarios!
