This little one was on the move when she came to visit for her second baby photography club photo shoot. The perfect time for this shoot is when your little one is sitting steady but not crawling yet but of course, so many sessions got delayed by lockdown that it wasn’t possible to hit the mark this time.

Of course, it doesn’t matter that she’s crawling – in fact, you can get great action shots – it just means that we have to work a little harder to keep her attention to get her to stay in one place long enough to take the pictures.

I also have some chair props and other accessories that can help to hold her in one place and generally we’ll bring all the silliness that we need to in order to get the job done. There’s no shame in singing, dancing and making strange noises in my studio – thank goodness my neighbours can’t hear!
