The Joey Club (my Baby Photography Club) was born because I didn’t like the national schemes that photographers can pay to be part of.
Obviously you get the benefit of a national advertising campaign but you have to stick to the format as prescribed, and I never liked those triple wing portfolio things that they choose for a presentation options. They seem very old fashioned to me.
So I made my own. You get three sessions in your baby’s first year, one each at four, eight and twelve months and what you do with them is up to you. You can keep it simple and classic, you can create themes (I love a good theme), you can get in the pictures yourselves as proud parents, you can cake smash at the birthday session – whatever floats your boat. At the end of the year, you choose your favourite image from each session to display in your triple aperture wall frame.
The cost for membership is £39.95 including your sessions and the frame that you get at the end of the year – or you can choose to take a free digital image from each session as you go along if you prefer it. I’m very proud of my Joey Club and how much fun my clients have had with it (some of them are even on their third membership as their families have grown!)
There’s no sales session to attend, and no minimum spend. You simply view your images after each session in your private online gallery and order what you’d like. It’s £15 for a single image, £50 for five or £195 for everything in your gallery if you just can’t choose. No secrets, no surprises, just great images of your baby’s first year.
