Turning one is a milestone that’s for sure – it marks the end of a crazy first year together and your tiny newborn turning into a fully fledged little person all of their own.
So it’s a great occasion to celebrate and commemorate with a photo shoot whether you want to add in a cake smash and tub splash or not. I have a range of ONE themed props that we can add in to some of the photos to personalise your photo shoot and my ONE letters are very popular. However they do come with a bit of a problem. They are both easy and fun for a one year old to knock over which makes getting a shot with them all upright and facing the right way a little bit tricky 🙂
So we set the letters up and leave a parent in place until I have scooted back to my shooting position then we go hell for leather to distract your baby with anything we can think of – singing, dancing, whooping, clapping, nothing is off the table – to get them to take their attention of the fun knockoverable letters for long enough to get the shot. It might well not be dignified but it does get the job done…
