By the time of your first Joey Club baby photography club visit, your baby will be about four / five months old so they’re likely to still be pretty limited in supporting themselves.
I generally advise waiting until your baby can confidently lift their head up whilst on their tummy before scheduling your first visit – the timing isn’t as important as the development stages when it comes to Joey Club sessions.
It’s designed to give you the maximum amount of variety in your finished image gallery and difference between your little one at each session so you get a great set of memories of their first year. So if your baby is taking a little longer to get the hang of tummy time, then definitely wait a little bit longer.
What is the Baby Photography Club?
The Baby Club is a simple, no-cost way to capture your baby’s incredible first-year journey through three beautifully timed studio sessions. From tiny toes at four months, to sitting tall at eight, and birthday cake-smashing at twelve — it’s all about documenting your baby’s milestones while keeping the experience relaxed and fun. There’s no upfront fee to join and you can choose a free digital image from each session or a framed keepsake at the end of the year. It’s an easy, pressure-free way to build your baby’s story in photos — one milestone at a time.

You can book a stand alone baby photo shoot for £95 including three digital images or you can take a look at my Baby Photography Club which includes
- Sessions at 4, 8 and 12 months
- The last session as a cake smash / tub splash if you’d like it (no extra charge)
- Your favourite image from each session in a wall frame at the end of the year OR a free digital image from each session
- Online private image gallery after each session (no sales / viewing appointments)
