I’d never actually met a Rottweiler in person before but of course I knew that they have a scary reputation – I think The Omen is probably largely to blame for that.

Of course I know that there is also no thing as an inherently dangerous dog breed, and so I was excited to meet my Lexi, my first ever Rottweiler.  It turns out she was truly terrifying. Imagine this situation…

Every single time I sat down to take her picture, she would race over to me and climb into my lap for cuddles!  Really scary stuff!  Actually it was a bit of a problem to get her to stop doing that so I could actually take her picture but we got that licked in the end and here she is.  A total love bug!
