Some weeks in the studio have a theme without any planning at all. This one quietly became a celebration of dogs.

From tiny curls and wagging tails to dignified gazes and wonderfully expressive faces, the studio welcomed a lovely mix of personalities. Each dog arrived with their own energy. Some curious, some cautious, some immediately at home, and all completely themselves within minutes.

Photographing dogs is always a reminder that portraits do not need elaborate setups or complicated ideas. Often the most meaningful images come from giving them space to settle, watching how they move, and waiting for those small moments of connection. A tilted head. A patient stare. The brief pause before a tail starts wagging again.

There is something honest about dog portraits. They do not perform. They simply are.

Weeks like this are a quiet joy. A studio filled with soft paws, gentle chaos, and the unmistakable feeling that you are being carefully observed in return.

And honestly, I would not have it any other way.
