Lifestyle newborn sessions are a bit different to a standard newborn shoot. Most of the session takes place on the white bed, with some time in the moses basket, and the focus is on soft, natural images rather than posed prop shots.
Bulletin board borders
Two sets, both A4 landscape sheets you cut into strips and join end to end. The first is a traditional winter set in red plaid, scalloped arches and star patterns, which suits a Christmas or general winter board. The second is a Nordic set in blue and white with folk patterns and pennant edges, which sits better alongside a snow or polar topic and works on into January when the Christmas things come down.
Both come with more than one edge shape, so you can run a straight edge along the top and a pointed one along the bottom, or mix them depending on how much wall you are covering.
Alphabet letters
Three full A to Z sets for display headings, topic titles and name labels.
The ice letters are plain frosted blue with icicles, which works for a science or weather topic as much as a seasonal one. The winter woodland set has British wildlife worked into the letters, robins, barn owls, hares and snowdrops, and suits a habitats or nature display. The third set is snowy blue with trees and drifts, which is the most decorative of the three and reads well at a distance for a main heading.
Print the letters you need rather than the whole alphabet. Most headings only want eight or ten.
Library cards
A set of snowman library cards for book corner labelling, borrowing records or a reading display. Print, cut and laminate.
A note on printing
Everything here prints on standard A4 without scaling. If you are laminating, print on the heaviest paper your printer will take, as the borders hold their shape much better once they have been through the laminator on card rather than copy paper.
