The carnival is in town this Halloween, and it’s not the friendly kind.
CarnEvil takes over the studio from 23rd to 25th October, a dark, twisted fairground built specially for this year’s mini photo shoots. Rotton Candy, the Kissing Booth, and Grinning Jim popping out of his box are just a few of the characters waiting in the set. Every corner hides something strange, and every photo tells a story your family won’t forget.
Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, and the set is fully built and lit before you arrive, so there’s nothing to bring and nothing to prepare. Just turn up and let the carnival do the rest – I won’t complain if you wish to dress in theme though.
CarnEvil works best for children old enough to sit independently right through to as old as they dare, since the set is properly atmospheric rather than gentle. If you’d like something calmer alongside it, or instead of it, the Pumpkin Arch is running too: warm autumn colours, a dried floral arch and falling leaves, ideal for portraits that will look lovely on the wall. You can add it to your CarnEvil visit or book it on its own.
CarnEvil sessions are £35, or £50 for CarnEvil and the Pumpkin Arch together, both including your edited gallery from the session.
The booking calendar opens on 27th September, with limited spaces across the three days, so if you already have a date in mind, it’s worth being ready.
