AI Use Policy

I want to be completely open about where AI does and doesn’t feature in my work, so here’s a plain explanation.

Your photos

Every photograph starts as a real session with your baby, taken by me, in my studio. Nothing about the image itself is generated by AI, and it never will be.

Editing

I use AI selection tools to help me isolate specific areas faster, for example finding the edge of your baby’s face so I can adjust the levels or lighting precisely on that area. The AI’s job stops there. It doesn’t touch, alter, or generate anything within the photo itself. Every actual edit, brightness, tone, retouching, is carried out using the same actions and techniques I’ve used for years, long before these AI selection tools existed.

Your privacy

Adobe has confirmed that customer images and content are never used to train any AI model. What happens to your photos during editing stays between you and me.

Website and written content

I sometimes use AI to help draft written content for this website, social media and emails, working from my own notes. I always read through, edit and approve everything myself before it’s published, so it’s still me writing to you, just with some help getting the words down.
