She already knew mermaids were real before she arrived. That was not up for debate.

This one had spotted the canvas on my studio wall and had been asking her parents to book ever since. When she finally made it in, she was exactly as I’d imagined, completely at home on the set, happy to make friends with any other mermaids she might encounter, and absolutely ready to play chase with the fish.

The bubble machine went down particularly well.

Little Mermaid Sessions at my Crawley Down studio are for children aged 2 to 5. The set includes treasure chests, coral, sea plants, shells, a friendly octopus and a bubble machine. Costumes are provided, and up to two children from the same family can be photographed together.

Join me in the studio for a mermaid photo shoot designed for little ones who love imagination, storytelling, and a touch of underwater wonder.

Choose between two experiences on the day:

  • The Little Mermaid Experience, a live action studio session including all edited digital images
  • Digital Mermaid Artwork, a handcrafted mermaid portrait created especially as a piece of wall art

Each session is carefully designed to feel relaxed and creative from start to finish.
