There’s a mermaid picture on the wall in my studio. It’s been there for years, and this little one has been looking at it since she was a newborn. Last Sunday, she finally got to step into the picture herself.

The Digital Mermaid Artwork session starts in the studio, a short, guided shoot where I capture a series of poses. Then the real work begins afterwards, building those photographs into a finished underwater scene. Each one is handcrafted individually from your child’s real photographs.

The result is something quite different to a standard portrait. Something worth putting on a wall.

Digital Mermaid Artwork sessions at my Crawley Down studio are for children aged 5 and over. There are three underwater scenes to choose from, and each artwork is individually handcrafted, not AI-generated, not a template.

Choose between two experiences on the day:

  • The Little Mermaid Experience, a live action studio session including all edited digital images
  • Digital Mermaid Artwork, a handcrafted mermaid portrait created especially as a piece of wall art

Each session is carefully designed to feel relaxed and creative from start to finish.
