The studio is about to get ready for another Mermaid Event Day and I’m rather excited to see all that underwater magic coming back in.
For the Little Mermaid Sessions, the set is fully dressed with treasure chests, coral, sea plants, shells, starfish and a friendly octopus or two. There’s also a bubble machine, which has quickly become the most popular feature with anyone under five. Costumes are provided, so your child arrives and gets straight into mermaid mode. Up to two children from the same family can be photographed together, which makes it a lovely option for siblings.
For the Digital Mermaid Artwork sessions, the studio session itself is more minimal – your child is photographed against a simple backdrop in a series of guided poses. The magic happens afterwards, when I build those photographs into a finished underwater scene. There are three different digital scenes to choose from, so each portrait feels personal rather than off a template. One child per session for these.
