The Witches’ Café might be named for our spell-casting friends, but this year’s event welcomed every kind of magical visitor – from Elphaba’s to mischievous monsters and tiny potion-brewers hard at work by the cauldron.
Each Halloween, I love watching children step into this world of make-believe. Some arrive shy and leave cackling, others turn into fearless potion-stirrers within minutes. It’s all part of the magic – and proof that in my studio, witches are welcome… but so are all manner of monsters.
