Once you’ve chosen your favourite images from your gallery, here’s everything you need to know about what to do with them.
Sharing on social media
You’re very welcome to share your images online, and I always love seeing which ones make it to your feeds. I include social media ready versions of your chosen images with every order, so they’re already sized and formatted for easy sharing.
A couple of things worth knowing: use the web-sized files rather than uploading the full-resolution versions, as they’ll load faster and look better on screen. If you’re cropping for Instagram Stories or Reels, keep faces and key parts centred so nothing important gets cut off at the edges.
If you’d like to tag me, you can find me at @SarahFishPhoto on Instagram and I always appreciate it when people do.
Printing at home or elsewhere
Your images come with high-resolution downloads, so you can print them wherever you like. That said, for anything going on the wall or being given as a gift, I’d always recommend ordering through me. The quality difference with a professional lab is noticeable, and I can make sure the final product looks exactly as it should.
If you are printing elsewhere, choose a reputable printer, ideally one that specialises in photographic printing. Always check the preview carefully before you order, as some labs auto-trim images slightly. Colours can also vary a little depending on the paper type and printer, which is completely normal.
Wall art and display ideas
If you’re thinking about putting something on the wall, a few options that tend to work well: a single large portrait as a statement piece, a trio of images showing growth across the Baby Club sessions, or a story-style photo block or album if you want to display the full picture. If you’d like some help working out what would look good in your space, just ask and I can put some options together for you.
Gifting your images
Prints and albums make really personal gifts, and grandparents in particular tend to love them. I can help with design and ordering if you’d like something specific put together.
One last thing
Don’t leave your images sitting in a folder you never open. Whether that’s a framed print on the wall, an album on the shelf, or just having them somewhere you actually see them, these photographs are worth taking out of the cloud.
