Jaundice is really common in newborns during their first few days. It’s a normal part of adjusting to life outside the womb, but it can show up as a strong yellow tone in photographs.
If you’re worried about how that might look in your images, please don’t be. As part of my editing process, I correct jaundice by hand in every final photo. It’s a careful, gentle colour correction that brings your baby’s skin tones back to something soft and natural, without ever losing what makes them look like themselves.
