Father’s Day Portrait Event – Celebrating Fathers and Their Children

With Father’s Day approaching, this studio event offers a thoughtful way to celebrate the quiet connection between fathers and their children. Designed around a rich, heritage-inspired set, these sessions focus on creating portraits that feel both meaningful and enduring.
Taking place in the studio on Sunday June 7th, each session is short and carefully styled, making it ideal for children from the stage at which they can sit confidently on their own. Whether you are planning a surprise gift or simply want to capture this chapter of your family story, the result will be a small collection of images created to be printed, framed, and kept.
Sessions are £35 with all edited digital images included, and are suitable for either one dad with up to two children or up to three small children together. Images will be ready within a few days of your shoot, giving you plenty of time to create something personal ahead of Father’s Day.
Because these are mini sessions designed to run smoothly for every family attending, they are not suitable for very young babies who may require extended settling time.
Booking your Session
Father’s Day portrait sessions will take place in the studio on Sunday June 7th, with booking opening on May 17th.
Each session is short and carefully styled, making it ideal for children who can sit confidently on their own. Sessions are suitable for one dad with up to two children, or up to three small children together.
Because these are mini sessions designed to run smoothly for every family, they are not suitable for very young babies who may require extended settling time.
Paying for your Session
Sessions are £35 and include all edited digital images from your gallery. No hidden costs, no need to choose favourites. Just a relaxed experience and a collection of photographs ready to print and enjoy.
As spaces are limited, payment is taken at the time of booking to secure your session. Once booked, you can simply arrive and enjoy the experience.
Father’s Day Themed Free Printables
If you’d like a little extra Father’s Day fun at home, I’ve created a small collection of free printables designed for children and families to enjoy together. From colouring pages to simple activities, they’re perfect for keeping little hands busy while building excitement for the day.
They also make a lovely way to involve children in creating something personal for Dad, whether that’s a handmade card, a decorated frame, or a thoughtful surprise to accompany your photographs.
Terms & Conditions
I know this isn’t the most exciting part, but these points help sessions run smoothly for every family attending.
Sessions are designed for one family at a time, with a maximum of three people. Sharing sessions with friends or extended family is not permitted. If you have a larger group, please get in touch to discuss a full session instead.
These are mini sessions lasting around 10 to 15 minutes. For this reason, children must be able to sit confidently on their own. Sessions are not suitable for very young babies who may require extended settling time
Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. If you are early, I may still be photographing another family. If you are running late, do let me know so I can plan accordingly.
The studio is accessed via a short walk along garden paths with a few shallow steps and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
My studio is small and does not have a large waiting area, so I recommend only bringing those taking part in the session.
Recording or photography by visitors is not permitted during sessions. Thank you for respecting my copyright.
Session fees are non refundable. If illness or an emergency prevents you from attending and you provide notice, I will always do my best to offer an alternative slot either during the event or at a future session. Missed appointments without notice cannot be rebooked.
