A picture of the lower half of a man and a pregnant woman with their pet dog sitting on the floor between them - their fur baby versus their first baby

I’m not sure if it is down to a Covid boom in dog ownership or just a bit of good luck on my part but there have been so many requests by people to include their dogs in photo shoots recently.

Even down to maternity shoots – in so many cases, a fur baby is your first baby and it was certainly true in this case.  And I think you can agree, this guy is going to be the best (and probably most handsome) big brother.

Of course I’d be lying if I said that adding a four legged family member into a photo shoot doesn’t add a little bit of unpredictability to a session – I’d definitely recommend bringing along a pocket full of their favourite treats to ‘encourage’ cooperation – it can definitely make things a little bit more tricky. However, I’ve never been scared of hard work and I’d pretty much do anything for a dog so it’s always worth a go.   The results can be fabulous and really capture your whole family together!
