When babies are about four-five months old, about the time that most come in for their first Joey Club session, I like to set up this little shot.

Most babies are not sitting up by themselves at this point so we get them settled in my specially designed posing cushion so they are safe and comfy and I move off to the side and get them to look directly ahead where their parents are sitting.  That way, we get a lovely close up of their sparkling eyes and smile as they look at their very favourite people.

However, this is the time in the session where I become instantly fascinating to a lot of babies and so they end up throwing some glances my way to see what the new person is up to by the side of them. No mater though, it’s still a great shot.
