A while ago I decided my newborn nest prop had seen better days and needed a bit of a makeover. I’m always happy to get creating, so I ripped it apart and started again.
This is its first outing in the new, size-reduced and tidied-up version, and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out. It was always a bit big before. I was happy to fill the extra space with accessories like flowers or teddy bears, but the new size works beautifully as a simple standalone prop. This family wanted to keep things clean and simple, so we went with a white fluffy blanket and a white wood floor drop. Using props at your newborn shoot doesn’t have to mean clutter. If simple is your style, simple is what we’ll do.
