It’s impossible to be sad while looking at a sunflower. I have a bunch of artificial ones in the studio that work really well for adding a pop of yellow to a session.
This little one’s mum brought some of her own along too, along with some hessian bunting, to create a You Are My Sunshine themed set. And he absolutely bought into it — that smile says everything.
The yellow works really well against my classic wood backdrop, and the bunting she brought blended in perfectly with what I already had. We worked through a few different themes during the session but this one was my favourite. Sometimes a plan just comes together.
