Without wishing to oversimplify human nature based on gender, I’d say women in particular are bad at getting in front of the camera and making themselves the star of the show.

Unless modelling is your job, there is a tendency to not get quite so involved in pictures as we probably should.  And, in my experience, when women do get into photos in the studio its usually as part of a family group.  But I’d like to invite you to take a leaf out of this beautiful lady’s book and schedule a photo shoot all for yourself.  It was a special birthday for her and she wanted to create photos to mark the occasion and I think this is just a brilliant idea.
