What is the Joey Club?

The Joey Club is my baby photography club along the lines of national schemes you might have heard of before such as Cherubs. My Joey Club is independent and unique to me though so we have all the flexibility in the world about the kinds of photography we can create.

What’s Included in the Joey Club?

You receive three sessions in your baby’s first year – one each at roughly four, eight and twelve months old.  At the end of the year, you see all of your pictures again and you choose your favourite from each session for your souvenir triple aperture wall frame.

What Does the Club Cost?

Membership to the Joey Club is £39.95 for the year and this covers your three sessions plus your souvenir frame at the end of the year.  If you’ve been for a newborn session, then your Joey Club membership is free!

Do you Offer Cake Smash Photo Shoots?

If you’d like your final baby photography club session to be a cake smash / tub splash photo shoot then you’re welcome to have that.  There’s no extra charge. All you need to bring along is the cake, your cake smash outfit and a towel / bubble bath if you are adding the splash portion of the photo session.

Where do Sessions Take Place?

Your photo shoots will be at my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down (that’s about half way between Crawley and East Grinstead).

Do you Have Props and Accessories?

I have lots of blankets, props and accessories at my studio that you’re welcome to borrow.  Of course, if you’d like to bring along your own items, clothing or toys then you’re very welcome to. It’s a great way of personalising your session.

How Much are Extra Images?

There’s no sales process or pricing surprises with my baby photography club – I think it’s nicer to make everything totally transparent so you know exactly what to expect and what to budget for.  A single digital image is £15, it’s £50 for five or it’s £195 if you want to download everything in your gallery.

Can We Order More Images?

After each session, you will see your images in your private online gallery (I don’t do those expensive viewing sessions that give us as photographers such a bad reputation when it comes to sales).  If you’d like to order any, you can do so online.  You’ll see all your images at the end of the year again so you don’t need to worry about selecting your frame image until then.

Can We Include a Newborn Picture in Our Frame?

It’s a lovely idea to include a newborn picture with your three Joey Club pictures to really tell the story of your baby’s first year.  If you’ve had a newborn session with me (don’t forget that, if you have, then your Joey Club membership is completely free), then you can upgrade your frame for a small fee.

Can I Buy All my Photos at the End of the Year?

Yes, you sure can. When you see your year’s photos at the end of your club membership, you can choose your pictures then or buy any extras that you’d like.

Can Friends and Family Order Pictures?

Yes, your gallery code will only be sent to you but you can give this to whoever you’d like to view your pictures. If they want to order any, they can do that direct from your gallery without you having to be involved – no collecting orders and payments.

Can Parents & Siblings be in the Photos?

Yes of course.  The sessions are mainly focused on your youngest family member but brothers and sisters, as well as parents, are welcome to join in the session to capture photos of you all as a family.  People have also included dogs as well on occasion!

That Does Sound Cheap – What’s the Catch?

Lots of people genuinely ask me this and I think it comes back to folk being used to photographers luring you in with cheap session prices and the promises of a free print and then turning the screw in a hard sales session to try and persuade you to part with lots of money after your session.  Honestly, honestly, there’s no catch and no surprises.  You come to your sessions, you view your pictures online and order what you want (at extremely competitive rates if I do say so myself) and then you choose your pictures for your frame at the end of the year.  It’s really as simple as that.

Of course, if you have any questions that I haven’t answered here, then just get in touch and I’m always happy to help.
