This was a recent three generation portrait photo shoot in my studio.  Bought as a Mother’s Day treat for both of the lovely ladies involved and these sessions really are some of my favourites.

They are genuinely creating some very precious family memories, heirlooms even that the little boy in the pictures will eventually show to his children and grandchildren and I’m always so happy to have a part in commemorating these amazing relationships.

There’s always lots of time in these sessions to take things at a relaxed pace and capture different groupings – so mum and son, mum and daughter, grandson and grandma as well as all three generations together.   My studio is a warm and welcoming place which I’m lucky is also very versatile in terms of lighting and backdrop options so we can work in a mix of styles to suit the type of images you’d like to create.

These types of photo shoot also make an amazing gift for a special occasion – if you can’t be sure of the other family member’s timetable you can always give a gift certificate on the day and let them book it at a time when you can compare diaries.
