This lady came along with her husband to get some maternity photos and she had quite a clear idea of what it was she was looking for.  In fact she brought along some pictures from a maternity shoot by Khloe Kardashian to give me an idea of the style she was looking for.  Yes, OK, I didn’t actually know that was who it was until she told me but now I do so I am officially on trend again 🙂

In her session, she was happy to go for ‘tasteful nude’ to show off her bump and she was also happy for me to share these pictures on here in case you were wondering – I wouldn’t share nudity without express permission of course!  Anyway, she looked fabulous and we even got out the wind machine to ramp  up the glamour to create a beautiful set of images in both colour and black and white.

Of course, this is only one way to go with your maternity photography.  Nudity is not a prerequisite for documenting your temporary shape and you’re free to mix and match styles within your session to create a set of photographs that are as unique as you are.   There’s no set formula to a session – you’re welcome to come alone, bring your partner to be in photos and include older children also if you’d like to.

Maternity Photography

I recommend coming for your maternity shoot when you are between 32 – 36 weeks pregnant so you have plenty of bump to show but you’re not getting too uncomfortable (also in case your baby decides to make an early appearance).  My maternity shoots cost £95 and include your three favourite digital images (you’re also welcome to borrow any of my gorgeous maternity photo shoot dresses while you’re in the studio).  You select your pictures and order any more that you would like directly from your online gallery, there’s no sales or viewing session to attend.
