This little girl and I have a little bit of a chequered past in that she hasn’t always been the biggest fan of having her photo being taken (although actually I do have some very beautiful pictures of her).  Anyway, this was her second baby photo shoot as a baby photography club member and she seems to have changed her mind about the photography process and she actually had a ball in the studio!

Which was a good thing as her mum had spent a lot of time preparing for this shoot as she had her heart set on some really stunning vintage styled images.  We had collaborated on the shoot design over Pinterest which is a great way of sharing your ideas with me if you have specific things you want – that way we can chat over what I have already and what you need to bring, plus I can have the studio set up and ready for you when you arrive.

We had three main sets that we focused on for this shoot which is probably the most that you can expect a little one to shoot for and we varied things within there to give ourselves lots of images to work with.  We combined flowers with what her mum brought along and what I keep in the studio to create the first set of images (her mum had made the stunning headband – what a talented lady!), then it was time to move to the vintage suitcase set (again with some florals and one of my handmade romper suits).  Finally we worked on my bed set with a pettiskirt that I had in a gentle peach and a wrap that her mum brought that was a perfect match – this shoot really was teamwork!
