Sophia was due to visit the studio for her third baby photography club photo shoot just as lockdown hit us all so she’s actually a bit older than one year old in this photo but she’s definitely still loving it!

At the end of your Joey Club year, your final session can be a cake smash and tub splash photo shoot if you’d like it to be – it’s not obligatory of course but a lot of parents choose this fun way to celebrate and commemorate the milestone of turning one year old! Sophia had both the cake smash and tub splash at her session but in all truth, she wasn’t overly fussed about the cake.  She was kind of happy to sit and pose with it and she did eat a bit when her big sister joined in to show her the ropes but she was definitely more into splashing in the bathtub.  Still she is such a happy little soul and definitely loving one year old life so the pictures were great despite not a lot of icing getting thrown around. I always say that you don’t need total cake devastation to get great cake smash pictures and here is Sophia, gleefully proving my point!
