Kya has been a member of my baby photography club – I call it the Joey Club – since she was four months old and she came for a session then, a session around eight months (when she was sitting steady), and this is her final session aged a whopping one year old.
She has been wonderful fun at each session, full of smiles and good humour and this session was no exception. We took time to capture some family photos first of all, and then some of her in her pretty lacy dress before we got the cake involved in the proceedings. Her very clever nanny had made the cake for her and, although she said that she had never iced a cake with butter icing before, I thought it was perfect. Kya certainly seemed to enjoy it! Then after all the sticky fun had been had, it was time to clean up in the tub full of bubbly warm water for a bit of splashing fun and some more great images. Her mum and dad decided to combine two of the accessory sets for the tub splash portion of the photo shoot – my vintage enamel ware and my ducks – and I have to say it was a stroke of genius – they look just fab together.
A cake smash and tub splash session includes family photos if you’d like them, a clean shoot of your little one and then obviously the cake smash and tub splash photo shoots. All you need to do is bring yourselves, a cake, some bubble bath and a towel. After your session, you’ll be able to view your images in your private online gallery a few days later and then choose your five favourite digital images to download at print quality all included in the £95 session fee.
