This was the last Joey Club session for beautiful Skyla and she was celebrating in rainbow style with this lovely cake at her cake smash and tub splash photo shoot.
This is great cake available from a supermarket (Asda) as it smashes really well and it has that rainbow coloured inside that makes it so pretty in the photos – of course there are lots of supermarket cakes available but this one has quite soft icing so it smashes really well in the studio (whichever cake you get, just make sure you take it out of the fridge the night before so it’s not too solid for little fingers).
After a good old dig around in the cake, then it was time to get into the tub where her mum and dad selected my pink vintage florals accessory set. Skyla was equally happy in there splashing about and playing with the bubbles. Just a girl who loves to party – what can I say?
Cake Smash & Tub Splash Photo Shoots
A cake smash and tub splash photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate that extra special first birthday. We start with a clean shoot and mum, dad and siblings are welcome to get involved here as well for family pictures if you’d like to. Then it’s time to get out the cake for some smashing fun! After that, it’s time to fill your choice of tub with warm and bubbly water for more great pictures and a good old icing removal clean up. Each session includes your three favourite digital images (chosen from your online gallery, there’s no sales session) and costs £95.
