Cake smash photo shoots have been around for a while and I do love doing them, they are messy fun and normally result in some great photos as your little one explores the texture of their new toy (OK, I’ll be honest, not a lot of the cake does tend to get eaten).
Still the fun can result in stickiness so the splash part of the session has a twofold purpose – firstly you get great images of your little one enjoying a bubble bath in my old tin tub (accompanied by my good friend, Quack the duck) and also you get to take home a non-sticky baby!
Both the Smash and the Splash take place after a more general photo session where we capture great shots of your one year old as they are and with some of my first birthday props (plus with any other items that you would like to include). Then you can choose to Smash and Splash (or just Smash or just Splash) to finish your session to produce a brilliantly fun set of images worthy of celebrating such a milestone as your first twelve months together.
Cake Smash & Tub Splash Photo Shoots
A cake smash and tub splash photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate that extra special first birthday. We start with a clean shoot and mum, dad and siblings are welcome to get involved here as well for family pictures if you’d like to. Then it’s time to get out the cake for some smashing fun! After that, it’s time to fill your choice of tub with warm and bubbly water for more great pictures and a good old icing removal clean up. Each session includes your three favourite digital images (chosen from your online gallery, there’s no sales session) and costs £95.
