It was a pleasure to meet Archie for his newborn photos – his big brother I had already met for his newborn photos a few years ago. After an unsettled start, he drifted off into the land of nod and allowed us to get a good range of photos to capture those fleeting early days.
His older brother wasn’t left out at all. Older siblings quite often want to get involved with the photos but to attend a full newborn session would be a long and boring time for them so normally I suggest that they come along for the start of the session. We take their pictures first of all and then they can go off to the local park or somewhere to play (obviously with a parent!) and pop back later when all the rest of the photos have been taken care of.
