This is digital backdrop that I haven’t used for a while, so it was lovely to see it requested by a client as it is one of my personal favourites.
When you book a newborn photo shoot, you will be able to browse my digital backdrop range the day before you come so that you can select one to include in your session if you would like to. They’re not for everyone I realise – some folk prefer to keep it simple and that’s fine by me, the option is just there if you would like it.
If you have requested one, then I will do my best to shoot for it during the session – all my sessions are led by your baby’s safety and comfort so there is never any guarantees that they will settle into any one necessary pose – but I’ll always work my hardest to get you what you want you can rest assured of that. In the case of my Teal Love backdrop, a comforting wrap is normally all it takes to get them settled, propped into cushions and get the base shot that we need for a convincing composite.
In an ideal world, I’d own all of the lovely props and accessories that my little heart wants in order to build every set for real – however space and finances don’t permit this. I will make an admission though – after editing this image, I was so enamoured of the ‘LOVE’ letters I did actually track a set down and order them in real life so I can add them into my own sets. One step closer to living the dream!

Newborn Photography in East Grinstead
Newborn photo shoots are best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old—this is when they’re at their sleepiest and curliest, perfect for capturing those beautifully serene images. To ensure you don’t miss out, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant—we’ll set a provisional date for a week after your due date and adjust if needed once your baby arrives.
Your session takes place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down, designed for your baby’s comfort. The shoot is relaxed, unrushed, and includes three digital images of your choice, all for £95. There’s no sales session—just a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourites at your own pace.
