The pink shell chair is one of those props that suits a newborn particularly well. The size is just right for a tucked-up baby, and the velvet texture and shape do a lot of the visual work on their own.
This was the first newborn session it had been used for, and it was a good opportunity to try it with the vintage florals alongside. The flowers pick up the pink tones in the chair without matching them exactly, which gives the whole set-up a bit more depth. I was pleased with how it came together.
When you book a newborn session, you’ll get a pre-session form to choose your prop from the studio collection. Everything is set up and ready when you arrive, which means no time lost to rearranging and more time while your baby is settled and sleepy.
