I’ve added a digital backdrop option to my newborn photography over the past year or so. It’ll never be the main focus of what I do, but it does open up some set options that simply wouldn’t fit in the studio in real life, which is a practical bonus.
I’ve had the blue hot air balloon for a while, and when one of my favourite digital artists released a pink version I was very happy to add it to the collection. The pink version is set in a daytime sky, which gives it a different feel to the blue, which is set at night. They work nicely as a contrast to each other.
The key to making digital artwork look right as a finished image is to shoot with the end result in mind from the start. You’ll be able to add the hot air balloon, or anything else from my digital collection, when you choose your options before your session.
