This is a shot that the mum and dad requested at their recent newborn session and it’s actually a really cool variation on the version that I normally do.
Generally I pose the newborn on the giant beanbag and have just the dad kneel down in front and hold their little one with their hands (obviously it’s not actually holding them into the air as that would be way too dangerous). In this case though they wanted both their hands to be in the picture so that’s what we did. Just love how they are both supporting their new arrival. Definitely an idea that I’m going to shamelessly steal!
