It’s quite possible that you won’t feel at your most photogenic when you come to visit the studio for a newborn photography session. I mean, your new baby is only days old and you are likely to be running on less sleep than normal, as well as having a million things to do in getting your new family organised. Still, I’d recommend taking a few minutes at the end of the session to get involved with the pictures and capture even just a few of you in the early days – they’re so precious!
This family were keen to get some family shots so we did that after a relaxed session capturing lots of images of baby Jude as he snoozed in the studio. He is gorgeous and looks lovely in his pictures but I thought I’d share these of the family together this time to show that the pictures can be simple and easy to do but will still be stunning in your album or on your wall.
A newborn photo shoot includes your five favourite digital (print quality) images which you select and download from your online gallery a couple of weeks after your session when all of your pictures have been finished in my editing suite to the highest quality. There’s always time for family photos (though they aren’t obligatory),of course you have access to all of my props and accessories in the studio, and the cost is £95
Newborn Photography
A newborn photo shoot is best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old as this is when they are at their maximum sleepiness and poseability to capture those dreamy shots. For this reason, I definitely recommend that you book when you are pregnant as this is one less thing to worry about scheduling when you’ve just got home from the hospital. We make an appointment for your due date plus 7 days and then adjust it as needed.
My newborn shoots include your three favourite digital images which you select from your online gallery a few weeks after your photo shoot – I don’t make you attend a sales or viewing session. Sessions take place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down and cost £95.
