The birth announcement set is the most requested prop addition at newborn sessions, and it’s easy to see why. For many families, the studio visit is their first outing with their new baby, so it’s a lovely opportunity to create an image that shares all the details with the people who matter.
To include it in your session, just add the details to your options form the day before: name, date, time, and birth weight. I’ll have everything set up and ready when you arrive.
A side note I’m slightly embarrassed to share: it’s only recently occurred to me that sticking the Scrabble letters onto Sellotape before the session is considerably easier than trying to arrange them neatly during it. Particularly useful with longer names. Live and learn.
