Baby Milo was coming to visit the studio for his first official newborn photos just a few years after his brother had been so I’d like to think that now I’m a family tradition!
When his big brother had been as little as he was (well nearly as little – Milo was particularly dinky), we had set up a birth announcement shot on one of my miniature beds and so we decided to recreate it for him. Except that we didn’t want it to be exactly the same and so we used the other bed and not quite the same set of blue bedding as we had the first time round. My birth announcement prop set are really versatile and are great at producing the perfect image for your birth announcement cards or christening invitations. We include your baby’s name, date and time of birth and their birth weight to let everyone know all of the relevant information in one fun image that also looks great on the wall of your nursery.
Newborn Photography
A newborn photo shoot is best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old as this is when they are at their maximum sleepiness and poseability to capture those dreamy shots. For this reason, I definitely recommend that you book when you are pregnant as this is one less thing to worry about scheduling when you’ve just got home from the hospital. We make an appointment for your due date plus 7 days and then adjust it as needed.
My newborn shoots include your three favourite digital images which you select from your online gallery a few weeks after your photo shoot – I don’t make you attend a sales or viewing session. Sessions take place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down and cost £95.
