My fairy photography experience is totally unique to me as I designed every element of it myself, from the Forest to the handmade wands.

I’ve very much enjoyed running it for the last decade and now I think it’s time to make a couple of changes to make it better for everyone!

The Minimum Age of Fairies will now by Four Years Old

The first change is to the minimum age of the fairies that can come and visit – that will now be four years old.  From all these years of experience, this is the earliest and best time for them to get the most out of the experience.  They can enjoy all the fairy tales that I spin around the props and accessories, they take part in the fairy magic that we are creating together and the photos really do reflect this in their enjoyment and expression.

Younger children than this can find the Forest overwhelming and also, as they don’t always understand what we’re actually doing, they don’t actually get to see and interact with all of the props for safety reasons.  A good example of this is my fairy crystal ball – I don’t give it to young children who may drop (or in some cases throw) it as they could hurt themselves but the shot where they are gazing at the glowing magical orb is one of the loveliest ones and so you will miss out on it in your finished gallery.

I know it’s annoying if you have a child younger than this that you’d like to bring along to create some fairy images when my previous lower age limited was three years old but I promise you, the extra year will make a lot of difference and the quality of the photos will really be worth the wait.

All Sessions will Include All your Images for Download

The pricing for my fairy photography has been the same pretty much since it started – when it was one of the first fairy photo shoot experiences arounds in this country.  Since then, there are lots of road show type events that offer free sessions but then exorbitantly priced prints and digital images at a hard sell session afterwards.  I’ve never subscribed to this type of photography model with any of my work and that’s true also of my fairy photos.  I used to charge £25 for the session including one digital image (£35 for two fairy sisters) and then you could purchase your image gallery for £50.  Now the prices for a session will already have the cost of your images built in and it will be £95 for a single fairy or £125 for two fairy sisters.   No secrets or surprises, you just visit and enjoy your time in the Forest and then download your image gallery at print quality as soon as it is ready (normally about a week after your session).  These images are yours to print and share as you wish.

I haven’t quite decided on the Forest dates for 2022 yet, but they will be announced shortly.  These are popular sessions that sell out fast so I’d definitely recommend becoming a Forest VIP to gain early access to the calendar so you can book as soon as the dates are announced.  Payment is required at the time of booking to guarantee your session.
