If you scroll through my cake smash and tub splash portfolio, you’ll see a lot of two of my tubs – the rustic tin tub and the miniature roll top. But there is a third option – and that’s the milk bath.
That takes place in my clear tub and we just add a little bit of milk to colour the water – you can use any milk that you’d like to, just bring along your preference. Quite a few people use breast milk if they’ve been breastfeeding to celebrate completing a year of that journey. I don’t do a massive amount of them as lots of people prefer the fun accessories such as the ducks, but actually at this recent session, I was reminded of just how pretty they are. In this case, we accessorised with florals but fruit is also a popular option – the bright colours of oranges and strawberries really pop against the milky water and can also double as an in-bath snack!
You could also add a milk bath into your 8 month Joey Club session if you’d like to – the only requirement is that your baby can sit steadily and unsupported.
